What a fresh slogan, "It's Time." Since 1972 I have followed the Rangers either on the Radio, watched on TV, or was there in person. I (like thousands of other fans) have waited since then for the Rangers to make a successful showing in the post season. They have finally done it and will be playing in the World Series--what an awesome feat. I have listened to callers on sports radio, post game call-in shows, etc., and have always been amazed at the lack of support some fans have had. A "TRUE" baseball fan (true of any sport) will support their team when they are doing well or playing like a bunch of little league players. Many even this year talked about how bad they were in a certain game and because of that should just hang up their cleats. So now these fickled fans are now jumping on the band wagon of celebration. I am a baseball fan of the Texas Rangers and have been win or lose. Some are only fans when they are winning. "It's Time" they either become a true fan or get out of the parade as the Rangers march toward and World Series Championship.

new territory
There seems to be new territory to explore each and every day.
The latest was when our church was broken into over the weekend of October 8-10. I found the results of the break-in on Sunday morning when I showed up at my usual time of 6:45a.m. The thieves went through every room, my office, secretary's office, our sound room, etc. They took all of our sound equipment: speakers, monitors, mixer board, micorphones, CD players, lapel mics--EVERYTHING. They messed up my office but didn't take anything that I have missed at this point. They were just things but now the adventure of dealing with the insurance company to get what we need to replace the items taken. God is an Awesome God so I am trusting Him to take care of it.
With our economy in shambles and getting worse, I guess people are desperate when they steal from churches regardless of their size.

can't believe I am doing this
Never thought I would be doing this but I guess I have to get with the times. Be patient with me as I get into this. It may take me a while to put my toe in the water far enough to know what this feels like. I will get there just be patient.
